BA Strike Extended

A new announcement has been made, firstly the BA strike that is due to end on the 16th July is over in 7 days. However a new strike from the 19th July until the 1st August has been announced.

This is for the mixed fleet crew which is one of the 5 crews, Mixed fleet is based at Heathrow airport and they work on a number of routes, this Flyertalk forum can give you info which routes these are mixed fleet, however the strike can effect Euro Fleet or Worldwide Fleets to cover other routes and reduce flight levels.

If you are flying from Gatwick, London City, Stansted, Birmingham you will not be effected by the flights.

BA have advised to keep your travel details up to date, notably your contact details in case there any any changes to your flights. This can be found on the BA page here.

Lets hope there is minimal disruption, and if there is, my flight to Toronto on the 19th (for my wedding) can happily be changed a Qatar 787 instead of a BA one, I would be happy with this.

Normally the effected flights will start to show approx 3 days before, I will keep you all updated on this!
