Arriving into Canada using the new Automated Border Clearance

So, as part of my wedding, I am now in the hometown of my fiancee.

This involved of course, flying to Canada, meeting up with some other travelers in the LHR T5 GC lounge for a few drinks then the transatlantic hop to Toronto.

Upon landing in Canada, there was a change to the immigration process, where you could use the new automated machines and complete your deceleration on this, previously only Canadian and US citizens (and permanent residents) could only do this.

The difference was amazing, you use the machine, complete the decleration, it will print out a receipt. Then you head downstairs to the main immigration area, the office will ask 1 or 2 questions and thats you done, i was through in minutes.

This is a massive improvement
